What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Supervisor position at UR Thompson Health?
**Schedule: Full time - 3pm-11:30pm, Weekend and holiday availability as needed.**
Main Function
Main Function
- Responsible for the direct supervision of associates whom perform housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
- This includes responsibilities for scheduling coverage, selecting associates, orientation/training, performance assessment, coaching, counseling, recognition, discipline, problem solving, and prioritizing work.
- Assures that high standards of cleanliness and efficiency are maintained per OSHA, DOH, and JC standards. Enforces department, Health System policies and procedures.
- Qualifications:** (Licenses, Certifications)
- None required or preferred.
- Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
- Require at least 3 years housekeeping experience in a hospital/nursing home.
- Prefer experience as a supervisor.
- Pay Range:** $18.00 - $20.00
- Starting Pay:** Based on experience.
