Position Responsibilities:
As the Communications Manager, you will assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring internal and external communications programs for UEC’s Texas and Wyoming operations. You will serve as a general speechwriter for communication campaigns and link presentations to corporate strategy, objectives, and values. In addition, you will organize various employee events such as CEO visits, executive employee tours, employee giving campaigns, as well as social and community events. You will also aid in advancing UEC’s relationships with external stakeholders and assist with community relations, community investments, and various writing projects. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Generate and distribute a range of communication materials, including presentations, press releases, factsheets, and website content.
- Develop appropriate stakeholder materials and respond promptly to requests for information.
- Develop and deliver consistent messaging regarding the Company and its projects with all stakeholders and work with the management team to support active and ongoing communication.

- Develop consistent messaging to be used in all written and verbal communications and ensure it is implemented by the UEC team.

- Communicate relevant company activities and industry-related events to employees to support strong employee relations.
- Support project-level communication efforts to maintain strong community support for UEC and its projects through ongoing and active communication and involvement.
· It is essential to establish and maintain sound working relationships with the management team to ensure effective two-way communication and program implementation.
- Accountabilities:
o Authority to create and recommend a path and materials to achieve objectives and subject to approval by the Senior VP, U.S. Operations, implement plans internally and with third parties as required.

Job Requirements
· This is a salary-exempt position that involves working at mine sites as well as in an office setting.
· Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices in all work-related activities.
· Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions, follow company safety policies and practices, and engage in a strong safety culture.
· Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
· A valid driver’s license is required.
· The successful candidate will be required to submit to mandatory drug and alcohol testing prior to employment.
· Must be willing to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in communications, social sciences, political science, or a related field of study. Experience in mining, uranium, or nuclear industry is preferred.
· Education and formal training will be supplemented by 5-7 years of relevant work experience or the equivalent.
· Good presentation and public speaking skills, as well as effective writing and organizational skills are an asset. Frequent travel within Wyoming & Texas is required.
· Must possess proven communication and writing skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
