Job Description:
The Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of construction workers
on a construction site. This role's main functions are to ensure the work is completed on time,
within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The Foreman will also be managing and
scheduling subcontractors' work, coordinating materials deliveries, communicating with the
project manager and other stakeholders, supervising safe equipment use, and managing any
issues that may arise. This role requires a strong sense of self-motivation, the ability to work in a
dynamic work environment, and a passion for working with others to achieve common goals.
Responsibilities:
• Help develop a strong team dynamic and positive work environment
• Align tactical objectives with strategic goals of the company
• Assist project team with relevant safety regulations
• Assist with task and work plan meetings
• Creates and develops crew work schedules
• Allocate and delegate responsibilities and individual projects to the crew and contractors
• Manage project specific safety plan in addition to corporate safety plan
• Develop relationships with other site employees
• Ensure project stays within budget
• Conducting performance reviews with staff, meeting with management to deliver
feedback and develop work optimization strategies
• Adhere to quality and workmanship standards per contract specifications.

Requirements:
• Internship or previous work experience in the heavy highway construction industry is
preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
• Travel when required (Dependent on jobsite location and project)
• Must have a valid driver's license.
