Retail Associate - Client Care Specialist

THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year(s) of customer service
• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization and maintain client relationships and customer satisfaction
• Experience with Microsoft Office and OS operating programs
• Ability to sort, count, and accurately calculate currency change and totals
• Good math skills

Previous experience in the pet care industry, specifically in customer service and retail, is not required but highly preferred.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A RETAIL ASSOCIATE - CLIENT CARE SPECIALIST

As a full-time Retail Associate - Client Care Specialist, you will work a flexible schedule that includes shifts Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sundays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

In this customer service role, your daily responsibilities will include managing the check-in and check-out process for our daycare and boarding services, maintaining accurate records, and updating reservations as necessary using our PetExec software. You will also assist with various administrative tasks such as composing emails, handling inquiries, and communicating with clients regarding dog drop-offs, pickups, and service inquiries. Additionally, you will answer the phone, provide detailed information, take messages, and ensure that client inquiries are addressed promptly.

As part of your duties, you will maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace, community storage areas, and feeding rooms. You will also process client transactions using our point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial dealings. Furthermore, you will interact with dogs, facilitate their movement between daycare and training sessions, and prepare meals and medications as needed. Supporting retail inventory management, you will input quantities, price and display items, and ensure the storefront remains organized and inviting.
