Our Information Services Leader ensures our programmatic and pragmatic success. We are looking for a unique individual who thrives when creating order out of chaos, can excel as a technical subject matter expert, and can bring together complex technical inputs into one cohesive team and practice.

This person will be responsible for leading a highly technical and talented Information Services team and supporting a multitude of functions specializing in security, operations, engineering, DOD, and commercial activities. The Director of Information Services will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all corporate IT functions across the organization. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as support and maintenance of existing applications and the development of new technical solutions. This position must also understand new technology related to cybersecurity countermeasures as well as be able to support the implementation/certification of CMMC.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an overall IT strategic plan to maintain a robust and unified information technology infrastructure and deliver a maximum return on investment in technology resources.
  • Collaborate with our cyber security team and compliance to develop controls, infrastructure, and processes to achieve CMMC 2.0 compliance with an aim at CMMC 3.0 when appropriate.
  • Improves existing software programs and develops new applications to meet future business needs.
  • Ensures hardware and software are maintained and data is secured through proper back-ups and staff training.
  • Ensures and prioritizes network and infrastructure stability to minimize downtime and associated costs to the business.
  • Manages budget and controls expenses effectively.
  • Develops and monitors metrics related to Information Services customer service levels, capacity, and cost-effectiveness to senior leadership.
  • Proactively forecasts necessary technology equipment purchases and upgrades necessary to support growth and expansion for all locations.
  • Defines, implements, and monitors function policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and guidelines to include federal government regulations.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of business strategy and objectives and recommends changes and improvements in the current technology footprint to enable those objectives.
  • Supports the strategic planning process as requested.
  • Evaluates and recommends corporate information systems technology solutions while remaining abreast of trends and emerging technologies, specifically in federal government contracting,
  • Creates maintains and enforces written policies and procedures regarding all technology operations throughout the company.
  • Acts to ensure the integrity of organization-wide data, proprietary information, and related intellectual property through information security and risk assessment to include Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • Serves as an internal Enterprise Architect to design and implement corporate infrastructure.
  • Consistent commitment to ethical practices and integrity under pressure.
  • Able to present executive level strategic initiatives to Sr. Leadership and company-wide.
  • Able to meet people where they are to provide world-class customer service with empathy and an understanding of cause-and-effect decision making.

  • This position will be responsible for supervising and directing the work of several assigned employees and must have senior-level manager experience that can lead, grow, and manage a rapidly expanding corporation.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in computer science, computer information systems, or technical management required. Minimum 12 years of relevant technical experience required in a federal contracting field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior management level experience required.
  • Excellent project management skills are required.
  • Strong continuous improvement experience and use of metrics required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team and have outstanding leadership skills.
  • Position requires self-motivation, consistent innovation and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to express humility and vulnerability in all situations.

Preferred Experience:

  • DOD Secret Clearance and or the ability to obtain an active DOD Security Clearance
    DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification
  • Experience in relationship with NIST and CMMC
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred.
  • ITIL or other IT Service Management certification preferred.
  • Additional certification and/or demonstrated knowledge in the following areas desired: Cyber Security, NetApp, Microsoft Office, SQL Database Administration, Virtualization & Storage, as well as Backups & Disaster Prevention/Recovery, continuity planning.

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range, which is $135,000 - $190,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
