JOB TITLE : Technical Project Manager II
LOCATION : 100% remote (USA only; west coast)
DURATION : 12 Months with potential extension
PAY RANGE : $60 - $70
TOP 3 SKILLS :
2-4 years of Project experience in a technical domain, customer support and operational efficiency. Experience in owning front-line technical customer support system strongly preferred
Infra hardware experience
PMI or PMP certification preferred.

Summary :
The main function of a technical project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Job Responsibilities :
Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
Manage user help system, creating process documentation / knowledge bases to improve self-service.
Proactively identify methods to automate the help system and drive automation / tooling requirements.
Provide users with technical front-line support for infrastructure capacity issues.
Skills :
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
Experience in owning front-line technical customer support system strongly preferred.
Must-Have Skills :
2-4 years of Project experience in a technical domain, customer support and operational efficiency. Experience in owning front-line technical customer support system strongly preferred
Experience in software and hardware
Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Nice-to-have Skills :
PMI or PMP certification preferred.

Education :
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
