As an Emergency Medicine Physician at UVA Haymarket Medical Center, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

Department Overview

The ED at UVA Haymarket Medical Center is a 20-bed unit with an annual volume of 27,000 patients. We have a staffing model that includes 28 hours of daily physician coverage and 16-24 hours of daily APP coverage. Our EMR system is Epic, and we have access to dedicated lab, radiology, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and decontamination showers. Additionally, we have a dedicated ambulance service with a helipad.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective patient flow
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

Salary : $200,000 - $252,000
