Description
The Commercial Lending Associate role provides first-hand support primarily to assigned Loan Officers/Lenders. Performs several duties pertinent to meeting the needs of the Bank’s customers (internal and external) and assist in the development of new business.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to assigned Loan Officers/Lenders.
- Manage and prioritize incoming telephone calls and when necessary, directing calls to the appropriate loan officer/lender or department.
- Resolves customer inquiries within level of authority.
- Serve as liaison between Loan officer/lender, management, and clients to improve customer service, build rapport and increase business productivity.
- In-depth knowledge of lending, compliance regulations and bank operations.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lending practices and requirements.
- Ability to analyze information, assess needs and recommend solutions.
- Track, follow-up and resolve customer’s outstanding matters in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with state and federal lending regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to social engineering, including but not limited to protecting sensitive information, verifying identities, and reporting suspicious activity.

Have the ability to present information to management, employees, and customers.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
