What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Paralegal position at US DEFAULT GROUP INC?
Basic Function
Resolve/Cure title exceptions in a timely manner arising from pre and post foreclosure matters in order to provide insurable or marketable title at closing.
Responsibilities
- Send congratulations letter to purchaser
- Request and follow-up for purchaser title report
- Review title report
- Clear title exceptions and coordinate with purchaser’s counsel.
- Communicate with firm attorneys and purchaser’s attorney as events occur on each file.
- Meet specific internal, client and investor guidelines.
- Coordinate on-site and remote closings.
- Preparation of closing statements, reports of sale and legal closing documentation. Meet closing instructions to their entirety.
- Prepare Time of Essence letters when necessary.
- Support other closing title specialists when out of office.
