The work we do building families offers stimulation, challenge, and personal reward.We have an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Services Representative to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and every other Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will have every Thursday off. The pay range for this position is $20 to $23 per hour.How You'll Contribute:We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Patient Services Representative is responsible for:Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance informationOptimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by assessing minimum patient needs and scheduling accordinglySchedule appointmentsAddress customer/patient issues and insure effective short-term and long-term resolutionProvide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage and financial optionsGreet patients and visitors to the office and providing high level of customer serviceRequired to work occasional weekends and holidays What You'll Bring:The skills and education we need are:Minimum 2 years of applicable work experienceHigh School diploma requiredExtensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billingExperience working in an OB/GYN office is a plusStrong communication skills, independent worker, detailed-oriented, computer savvyHigh level of customer service essentialMore important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
