This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We are seeking a full-time Embryology Laboratory Assistant to work in our fast paced, high volume, Embryology Lab located at our Rockville, MD office. The schedule is working Monday - Friday 6:45 am - 3:30 pm.
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Embryology Lab Assistant is responsible for:
- Identification, assessment and culture of oocytes
- Sperm preparation and insemination of oocytes
- Embryo freezing, storage and thawing
- Media preparation
- Preparation of IVF instruments and glassware
What You'll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology or similar.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 6 months clinical/research laboratory experience.
- Training is provided but clinical/research laboratory experience preferred
- Tissue culture experience a plus.
- A great opportunity for individuals interested in gaining laboratory experience and exposure to a successful fertility practice.
