Title and Summary Director, Product Management Overview This Director position within Mastercard’s Cyber & Intelligence Solutions Organization will be responsible for managing the future vision of Account Level Management as we evolve into a digital life; including program expansion, product development roadmap and new concepts. The Director in this role should have the ability to collaborate across a diverse group of internal global stakeholders & regional partners, effectively manage multiple priorities and demands, and possess a deep understanding of transaction processing & the payments card industry as it continues to evolve into a digital footprint. This candidate will own the daily product management of all country and product level deployments, cultivate ongoing new product ideas, bundling opportunities & development necessary to support new use cases and market relevancy. This individual will play a critical role in future proofing the Account Level Management and the solutions necessary to include enhancements to the value propositions, with a particular focus on the evolution of our industry into a digital driven life, and a keen eye on competition securing our relevance in the global market. This candidate should be intellectually curious, energetic, a self-starter and able to operate with a sense of urgency. In addition, the role requires an individual who can demonstrate discipline in prioritizing efforts, and the ability to be comfortable managing through ambiguity. Candidate needs to have strong communication skills with an ability to refine and adjust communication to gain support & sponsorship from Executive Management, and experience in driving execution and alignment with Regional Teams, who may not share the same sense of prioritization or urgency. Role • Manage the on-boarding of all new ALM countries & customers (globally), including any regional specific handoffs required. • Generate new ALM revenue through new market penetration and new enhancement feature/functionality deployment. • Cultivate and design new idea generation through thought leadership on competition and industry trends, sales enablement, and performance monitoring measurement. • Partner with regional teams to identify new customer opportunities or new use cases for existing ALM solutions, formulation of execution plans, and integration Go-To-Market activities of those business development opportunities. • Continuously refresh the Account Level Management product development roadmap with the Engineering Team to ensure value is expressed and delivered to customers, and new & existing market opportunities are maximized. • Maintain and develop new internal & external global sales enablement materials, including synchronization with of all internal training & product documentation. • Ensure any new product development follows the PME/Studio framework. • Influence and collaborate with a diverse group of regional and global stakeholders to include Product, Finance, Legal, Account Managers, Operational & Technical Teams. • Minimum travel will be required (10-15%) • May be located in Purchase, NY or O’Fallon, MO All About You Education • A Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, marketing, product management, or related field, or equivalent work experience (required) Knowledge / Experience • Seasoned Director or equivalent work experience (preferred) • Experience working with partners across other functions in support of key deliverables and product go-to-market strategies • Experience developing reports and preliminary insights based on complex analysis of competitor market data • Working knowledge of product management, product planning, project management & financial services • Working knowledge of card industry (desirable) • Knowledge of Mastercard product and services suite (desirable) Skills/ Abilities • Seasoned Director & Product Manager with the ability to take a mature product and future-proof it into the new generation of a digital world • Ability to interact and coordinate effectively with internal business partners • Ability to effectively manage multiple functions & priorities and operates with a sense of urgency and flexibility to drive results • Ability to digest complex ideas and organize them into executable tasks • Strong work ethic and a master of time management, organization, detail orientation, task initiation, planning and prioritization • Self-starter and motivated to work independently with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment including briefing and influencing management, to achieve goals • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including PowerPoint, experience developing executive level presentations, and strong excel aptitude In the US, Mastercard is an inclusive Equal Employment Opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
