Mission of the Navy Reserve

The mission of the Navy Reserve is to provide strategic depth and deliver operational capabilities to the Navy and Marine Corps team and Joint forces, in times of peace or war. As a Navy Reserve Sailor, you will seamlessly support and actively aid this mission while continuing to lead your own independent life in the civilian world.
