About The Opportunity Maintain and improve all plastic processes, including troubleshooting molds, automation, plastic variables and maximizing efficiency of all operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Deploy process technology to minimize process variation and optimize the manufacturing of our products. 2. Improve machine efficiency through automation uptime and optimization. 3. Perform mold start-ups using plastic fundamentals (applicable locations only). 4. Maintain process guidelines though cycle times, E-Darts, clamp movement, etc. 5. Install, troubleshoot, and remove EOAT. 6. Troubleshoot material mixers 7. Assist in color/material changes 8. Pull and understand FPI/SA paperwork and process variances. 9. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed). 10. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities. 11. Other duties as assigned. Performance Measures and Outcomes 1. Safety metrics 2. Scrap / Lbs. processed 3. Unplanned downtime 4. Mold/Version change startup time Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner. 2. Ability to STOP-THINK-ACT and work safely. 3. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business. 4. Ability to work on a rotating shift. 5. Ability to work rotating job stations. 6. Ability to effectively work in teams. 7. Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism. 8.
