R10044197 Power Generation Rental Specialist (Open) Location: Tampa, FL - Welding equipment rental How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Reporting to the Director of Power Generator, we are seeking a skilled sales professional experienced in the rental of our equipment and the selling of aged assets. The successful person in this role will demonstrate the ability to answer technical inquiries utilizing a strong understanding of the industry and our equipment. Personal aptitude and professional credibility is essential to be successful in this role. You must be an articulate and effective communicator to assist our customers with their business needs. Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arc’s health and safety guidelines and promotes a safety culture. Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record required; ability to meet and maintain insurance criteria for insurability. Capable of towing and operating equipment for demonstration purposes. Self-starter, is able to manage and execute an annual territory sales plan, account management with proven presentation skills and ability to demonstrate effective sales orientation. Provide power rental solutions to our customers in a fast paced, ever changing environment. Support existing regional sales teams with product and application guidance, as well as training when needed. Maintain current customer relationships while exceeding all established revenue and account growth targets. Coordinate with the appropriate branch office to prepare sales contracts, other documentation, and/or collection for orders and projects. Able to quote prices and credit terms, negotiate deals and prepare appropriate paperwork for orders. Mechanical aptitude preferred; must understand or be willing to learn job situations and project conditions to best suggest the correct offerings. Strong PC skills and the ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology. Willing to travel and work hours required by the job and customer demand. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred. Experience Five years sales experience in a Power Generation/Rental Industry preferred.
