KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages and directs the technical service department and responsible for programs to meet organizational needs Maintains and reports on KPIs to the VP. Assists in the identification of appropriate KPI for tracking efficiency and efficacy of technical service activities. Develops and implements technical service procedures (particularly as they relate to our ISO certifications) Ensures the quality of data, reports, responses provided by the department Ensures that work is completed on time and within budget Keeps updated with competitive technologies and movements of industry as a whole Communicates with sales managers to prioritize project work Other duties as assigned by the VP Participates in project work as required Complete all safety and application training MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in scientific or engineering field preferred. Without experience, training/education is recommended. This role will typically have 15 years' experience, including education. Experience with instrumentation, MS Word products, SharePoint or database management software preferred. Without experience, technical, associates, or college degree in chemistry, life science or related field required. College or advanced degrees in scientific fields preferred.
