What You'll Do
The Secondary Marketing Analyst is responsible for daily loan pricing, execution of lock requests and inquiries, and following company procedures and pricing policies.
Responsibilities
- Process new lock requests and execute lock revisions, extensions, and re-locks.
- Assist with expiring locks management.
- Assist with program and pricing loan scenario inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service to all branches and headquarters employees by accurately answering questions regarding pricing, guidelines, policy, etc.
- Create daily secondary reports, review for accuracy, and distribute to appropriate parties.
- Develop and review other reports as needed.
- Perform assigned duties as directed by Secondary Marketing Manager.
Requirements
- Accounting or Economics degree from four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum one (1) year of related mortgage lending industry experience and/or training
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Encompass, Product and Pricing System Database software, and various investor websites
- Clear understanding of current CFPB and RESPA laws and guidelines
- Knowledge of Secondary Best-Efforts and Mandatory Secondary Mortgage practices
- High attention to market changes
- Familiar with Conventional, FHA, and VA mortgage products
- Strong multitasking capabilities, time management skills, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workflow effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
