The Job Details :

  • Offer strategic guidance and support to foster a positive organizational culture and drive effective HR initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with State, Federal, local labor guidelines, as well as company policies.
  • Lead and mentor local HR team members to support their professional development and effectiveness.
  • Assist with any legal matters and develop corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct Site Surveys and implement changes.
  • Manage workplace injury processes, including treatment, investigation, and reporting.
  • Organize, participate, and take minutes for necessary meetings.
  • Assist with and implement beneficial recruiting initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Analyze turnover statistics, compile reports, and develop retention plans.
  • Maintain a comprehensive training schedule for each site to ensure ongoing employee development.
  • Design and deliver HR-related training sessions tailored to the needs of each site.
  • Conduct site investigations into all claims including workers' compensation, harassment, theft, misconduct, etc.
  • Monitor and manage leave claims, ensuring proper administration in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation (e.g., FMLA, ADA, military leave, etc.).
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with all State, Federal, and local policies, and laws.
  • Collaborate with local management to develop, implement, and track HR initiatives that support site objectives.
  • Provide guidance and training on the various company policies and HR related applications including but not limited to attendance policy, drug and alcohol testing, timekeeping, HR related platforms, etc.
  • Understand and complete all tasks assigned to HR Supervisors when necessary.
  • Act as a point of escalation for various matters.
  • Provide backup support to Regional HR Manager.

  • Location, Department and Work Hours : Human Resources, Days, but vary based on need.
  • Reports To : Regional HR Manager
  • Travel Amount : Travel will be required but is varied based on need.
  • Job Type, EEO, and Job Code : Full-Time, Exempt M2-20-MM.

  • The ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below qualifications.
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 plus years of experience.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources experience. Must have the ability to provide guidance, work direction and to motivate others to obtain improved performance. Professional knowledge and experience in human resource management including problem solving, conflict resolution skills, consulting skills, operational management skills, and analytical skills.

  • Possess strong arithmetic and reading skills.
  • Follow verbal instructions, written instructions, and company policies.
  • Be a self-starter, able to work independently and coordinate with others.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing stress and meeting productivity guidelines.

  • Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance and communications at all times.
  • Participate in staff and / or customer meetings as required.
  • Take initiative to prevent non-conformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
  • Identify and report any issues related to product, processes, and / or quality.
  • Propose and implement solutions through appropriate channels.
  • Ensure solutions are effectively implemented.
  • Follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building.
  • Participate in safety and educational training programs.
