Job Summary
USHS Construction LLC is hiring a Project Manager to lead construction and renovation projects within occupied senior living communities, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care facilities.
This role is ideal for a construction professional experienced in healthcare or senior living renovations, managing multiple projects, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring strict compliance with life safety, ADA, and healthcare-related regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple senior living construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, and project execution
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, property managers, and design teams
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field operations
- Ensure resident safety and minimize disruptions in occupied facilities
- Manage permits, inspections, change orders, and cost tracking
- Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10 years of commercial construction project management experience
- Experience with senior living, healthcare, or occupied facility renovations preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, or similar construction management software
Work Environment
- Frequent travel to active senior living job sites (mainly in FL and GA and potentially expanding to TN - a home base in the Orlando area would be preferred)
- Ability to walk job sites and navigate active construction areas
- Occasional evenings or weekends to support facility operations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000 base/annually (1st year total estimate base and bonus at $85,000)
