The Eye Surgery and Laser Center of Wisconsin is hiring a Surgical Tech!
Located in Milwaukee, WI, our cutting-edge facility is dedicated to providing exceptional ophthalmic care, and we’re looking for a skilled Surgical Tech to join our growing team. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about patient care, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons and clinical staff with ophthalmic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process in the OR.
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, including instrument setup and sanitization.
- Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment to support surgeons during procedures.
- Assist in patient preparation and positioning to ensure comfort and safety.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to keep operations safe, efficient, and timely.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program or at least two years of surgical tech experience.
- Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery center or ophthalmic setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, including patient preparation and equipment handling.
- Solid understanding and application of aseptic techniques.
- Ability to adapt swiftly to changes in patient condition as needed.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians.
