Role Overview
The Limousine driver / Helper, Facility worker will pick up clients and Luhadia family members and drive them to various destinations, including but not limited to meetings, office locations, transportation centers and other destinations as directed.
Secondary job functions will include assisting the maintenance department by maintaining ownership of building sections, and other areas as required to support the production team.
Areas of Responsibility
Essential Job Functions:
- Help load and unload luggage and carry these items in and out of places.
- May need to operate wheelchair lifts for elderly or disabled persons.
- Responsible for keeping vehicles clean and for coordinating the maintenance and repair of the company vehicles.
- Staying up-to-date on all traffic laws and maintaining a clean record and valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to work extended work hours and weekend overtime.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or Luhadia family.
Secondary Job Functions:
- Complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Housekeeping of the maintenance ownership sections, and other areas as required to support the production team.
- Reports any problems back to the Maintenance lead, of any condition/repairs requiring immediate action.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Ensures full compliance with Company policies, procedures, GMP’s, Ethical Business Practice, and SOPs at all times.
- Maintain proper gowning and hygiene to ensure integrity of the product as per company policies.
- Works extended hours and occasional weekend overtime.
- Follow Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures, adhering to safety codes and guidelines for yourself and others throughout the plant.
Other Responsibilities Including Safety:
- Other duties as assigned.
- Works in a safe and responsible manner in order to create an injury-free and incident-free workplace.
- Complies with all job-related safety and other training requirements.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
Requirements
Education & Qualification:
- High school diploma or an equivalent GED.
- 1 year driving experience with a clean driving record.
Certifications, Licenses, Credentials:
- A valid driver's license.
- Chauffers’ License preferred but not required

Physical Requirements (lifting, etc.):
- Must have the ability to lift heavy items up to 70 pounds. Must be able to load and unload heavy objects in and out of vehicle, requiring upper body strength and physical stamina.
- Able to operate a vehicle for long period of time, able to deal with stressful and tedious environments such as driving in inclement weather.
Work Environment (Office, Warehouse, temperature extremes, etc.):
- Able to work in a dynamic work and changing work environment. Be able to stay physically mobile.
