Responsibilities
The Monitor Technician is accountable and responsible for viewing the cardiac monitor for each
patient, recognizing and reporting abnormal patterns.The continual monitoring of all patients on cardiac monitors and reporting all changes to appropriate nurse.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines, and policies
- Knowledge and understanding of heart rhythms
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Successful completion of a Monitor Tech program
