What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breast Cancer Research Instructor position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking a faculty member with a focused research interest in breast cancer.
This position requires an M.D./Ph.D. or Ph.D., in basic science and two to five years of postdoctoral experience in breast cancer research or a related specialty. Level of appointment will be commensurate with applicable experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time appointment. The position will develop independent and external funding. Preference will be given to applicants to “cutting-edge” research and who have an outstanding publication record.
Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
