What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breast Oncologist position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking a faculty member specializing in breast oncology. Applicant must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine. Board certification in Hematology/Oncology is preferred. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. This position will cover patients Parkland Health and Hospital Systems. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to existing clinical research opportunities and teaching of UTSW students, house staff and hematology/oncology fellows.
