What are the responsibilities and job description for the Otolaryngology - Advanced Head and Neck Oncology Fellow - Assistant Instructor position at UT Southwestern Medical Center?
The Assistant Instructor position is a one-year focused educational experience for individuals who have completed an Otolaryngology residency and wish to pursue advanced training in the medical and surgical management of advanced head & neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Approximately 20% of the fellow's time will be devoted to research and scholarly activity, the remainder to clinical duties. The position will perform independent clinician responsibilities such as call and clinic, etc.
The candidate must be an applicant of the Head & Neck Fellowship program and selected through the Match process.
Candidates must successfully complete an Otolaryngology residency prior to beginning the fellowship and must be board certified in Otolaryngology and eligible for a Texas Medical License.
