What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Work position at Utah Home Health and Hospice?
Become a friend to a hospice patient! Utah Home Health and Hospice is looking to match volunteers to provide companionship to our hospice patients. Ideally, volunteers would visit our patients on a weekly basis. This is a very self-driven and flexible volunteer opportunity! Our hospice patients deserve to feel connected, comforted, and supported through their journey, and volunteers are the perfect people to help with that. Some examples of what volunteers can do are reminisce with patients about their favorite memories, read books, do puzzles, or complete light housework. Volunteers can also provide respite care for families who need a quick break for errands. Volunteer opportunities available for those with or without transportation. We will match you with patients within your desired area.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $1.00 - $1.05 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
Work Location: On the road
