What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pathology Coordinator position at Utah Valley Dermatology?
Utah Valley Dermatology is looking for an additional Pathology Coordinator!
This position will be mainly at our Lehi or Saratoga Springs office with rare travel to the other location. This position works closely with Utah's best dermatologists! Applicant must be detailed oriented and have a bachelor's degree (or be close to completing degree).
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm & Friday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Review pathology with physicians
- Input the biopsy results & treatment options into the pathology logbook and into EMR
- Coordinate second consults between outside path readings
- Call patients with their biopsy results & schedule them for the appropriate appointment type
- Send out certified letters for patients we are unable to contact
- Call other offices to get medical records including pathology reports & lab work
- Prep for all CLIA audits and abide by all CLIA requirements
- Respond to all proficiency institute requests for compliance
- Call patients that need to schedule for surgery and log phone note, as well as complete pre-op questions
- Confirm Mohs appointments two days prior to the procedure
- Create Mohs checklist for physician and go over each Mohs patient two days prior to Mohs

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
