LOCATION: Conroe
SHIFT: 2nd Shift - Mon thru Fri - 5 pm - 1 am
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: To mold finished parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Mold blanks.
- Inspect Parts.
- Troubleshoot.
- Implement and practice Lean Manufacturing tools, including 5S, to increase productivity and eliminate waste.
- Assist in cross-training.
- Complete maintenance inspection sheet.
- Maintain a 5S checklist as it applies to your work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills
Must be able to read & follow work order instructions.
- Must know all product lines.
- Must be able to work with Technical Engineers on new parts and R&D.
- Must be able to learn basic computer skills.
- Must be able to use measuring devices.
- Must follow company procedures at all times.
- Must be able to inspect materials visually.
- Must be able to work without supervision.
- Must be able to work in an environment with various temperatures.
- Must able to lift 50lbs. up to 5 ft. high.
Required Education and Experience:
- and 0-2 years of experience in molding.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses tools and other such equipment during the job duties. Provided Personal Protective Equipment and steel-toed boots or shoes must be worn at all times.
Physical Demands
- Moderate walking and climbing.
- Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; and stoop.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
