Fiber Splicer Job Summary: Utility Contracting is seeking a full-time Fiber Splicer who is interested in building a long-term career in the telecommunications industry.
Five years minimum of experience is required.

Fiber Splicer - Fiber Optics Qualifications:
- Understanding of networks
- Must be able to read prints and schematics
- Willing to travel out of town
- Scheduled or Emergency work includes Nights and Weekends
- Operate a bucket safely
- Clean Insurable driving record
- Must be willing to work overtime and to travel (Per Diem is provided when traveling)
- Must be team oriented
Fiber Splicer - Fiber Optics Duties include but are not limited to:
- Splicing
- Terminating
- Testing
- Troubleshoot
- Read Splice Docs
- OTDR
- Locating
