Utility Trailer of Dallas is seeking a skilled and experienced TRU Reefer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and service of Transport Refrigeration Units (TRUs) to ensure they are operating efficiently and reliably. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on TRUs, including diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and ensuring units are functioning properly.
· Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of TRUs to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
· Troubleshooting: Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve issues with refrigeration units.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.
· Customer Service: Interact with customers to explain repairs and provide recommendations for maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, manufacturer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
· Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a TRU Reefer Technician or similar role.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in refrigeration or related field preferred.
· Skills: Strong mechanical and technical skills, proficiency with diagnostic tools, and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
· Knowledge: In-depth understanding of refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks that require physical exertion.
· License: Valid driver’s license.
