What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Informaticist position at UW Health?
This is a full-time position scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department, off hours may be required. This is a hybrid position with an on site work location at 1212 Deming Way (this is not a fully remote position). Details will be discussed during the interview process.

Assess, plan, train, and implement nursing informatics projects at the #1 hospital in Wisconsin.

- Support clients and departments (as assigned), as well as varied technologies that promote optimal patient care.

Education:
Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Nursing or relevant field
Work Experience:
Minimum - Two (2) years of clinical and/or informatics-related experience
Preferred - Five (5) years progressive clinical experience and/or informatics-related experience, project management experience, involvement in quality improvement initiatives
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - RN Licensure in the State of Wisconsin
Preferred - Certification in Nursing Informatics and/or membership in and certification from professional associations such as ANIA, AMIA, HIMSS, PMI
