Job Summary
We are looking for a Commercial Landscape Manager working out of our Kirkland and Totem Lake location. This an excellent long-term opportunity if you are a self-starter and enjoy driving the success of employees under your supervision.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing a number of Landscape Maintenance Crews operating within our Seattle & Eastside region
- Setting routes and schedules, coordinating submission of new staffing needs, monitoring expenses, and limiting crew overtime to that which is necessary.
- Keeping Branch Management up to date on performance (qualitative and financial) of crews through on time reporting.
- Engaging with customers as their primary point of contact, including regularly meeting with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the services provided and look for opportunities to improve their properties with products or services.
- Coordinate with HR, AP, and AR to keep finances and employees in line with company goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments on implementation of enhancement projects at current customer sites.
- Primary role in employee review, advancement, and when necessary, discipline for crews under your supervision.
- Maintain, manage, and keep an organized fleet of trucks, equipment, and materials.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of crew level employees
- Decision-making authority, requiring frequent independent deliberation
Qualifications:
- Experience
- At least 5 years in Landscape Maintenance, including 3 years in a lead or supervisory position REQUIRED.
- AA or BA preffered

Language & Calculating Skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Ability to speak effectively, present information, and answer questions before employees and clients
- Bi-Lingual English/Spanish REQUIRED
- Intermediate to advanced math
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.

Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to analyze and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, etc.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule format

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
- Valid drivers license issued by the state where employed with 3 years of a clean driving record
- Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) and/or other relevant licenses including; Pesticide License, Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT), and Concrete Paver Institute (ICPI).

- Ability/Willingness to work off normal hours when needed (such as inclement weather).

Salary : $65,500 - $70,000
