Description:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems, meeting company and industry standards for quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Activate and deactivate irrigation systems
- Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems as required
- Purchase parts required to repair irrigation systems maintaining accurate inventory and strict cost controls.
- Submit accurate billing information
- Promote and maintain safe working conditions
- Program irrigation clocks to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Ensure proper use, care and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned
- Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water source point of connection and mainline location, services performed and parts installed
Requirements:
- 2 – 3 years experience of irrigation technician work
- Drivers License with good driving record
- Strong work ethic
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritized job duties and multi-task in a past paced environment
- Customer service experience – able to identify and resolve customer concerns
- Industry Certification a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Computer Skills a plus
