The ideal candidate is a team player who will be responsible for working with company data in various business areas. Specific responsibilities include reporting metrics, analyzing methodologies, suggesting operation improvements, and building proposal evaluations in a cross-functional environment.
- Support the Electronic Health Records program.
- Posses experience withing a Clinical/Health/Bio-Tech environment.
- Has familiarity with HL7 and its family of standards including Clinical Document Architecture, and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources.
- Supports the health IT Unit in the implementation of the EHR solution.
- Collaborates with the clinical staff and IT leaders to translate clinician requirements into coordinated specifications for the EHR solution.
- Defines Health IT requirements for clinical disciplines as they relate to the strategic plan and unit mission. Provides business analysis on clinical processes (not billing or insurance).
- Contributes to project/program implementation, infrastructure, system architecture, planning, project initiation, business systems analysis, requirements definition, systems design, systems development, system testing, system implementation, on-going maintenance and enhancement, effective problem identification and resolution, production service and support, and systems administration support tasks to ensure computer applications will assist DOC in achieving its day-to-day mission
