Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating CNC Mill and 5-Axis machines.
This role involves fabricating precision components, ensuring high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Duties
Run the 5-axis DMG Mori Mill machine at night taking over from the 1st shift. Maintain an impeccable quality while also being efficient while building very difficult manifold type parts.
- DMG Mori experience a plus.
- Should be familiar with difficult nickel alloys like 304 and Monel.
- Ablility to inspect all dimensions on the print on each and every part.
- Understand the difficulty of working with larger parts.
- Manifold / Valve experience preferred.
Qualifications
Previous experience in machine shop processes of CNC or conventional applications. Specific tool sharpening abilities is required.
Ability to apply concepts of basic math and trigonometry. Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings. Experience with basic set up and G-Code programming.
Ability to perform first article inspections using precision measuring and gauging instruments on parts being machined or fabricated.
General understanding of the entire machining / manufacturing process.
