As Production Control Support, you will be responsible for ensuring the that the Production Team is setup with the necessary information to complete their day to day tasks based on Customer needs. You will work closely with all Teams at Vacutech to ensure production is executed appropriately, on time, and accurately.
Job Duties:
- Assist in the creation of Work Orders and scheduling via NetSuite to meet the requirements of the Customers. Slot projects and Work Orders based on defined capacity criteria
- with the plan to release completely once the project is fully defined.
- Work with Project Managers, Key Accounts Managers, and Sales as required to define appropriate due dates for projects to maximize production capacity.
- Ensure all appropriate Work Orders are released to the Production Team for execution.
- Ensure dates on Work Orders and Work Order flow is appropriate to complete the tasks associated on time.
- Collaborate with the Production Team when Work Orders are not completed on the date requested to understand root cause and determine the appropriate corrective actions.
- Work with Purchasing on upcoming orders to ensure materials and scheduled production dates are aligned.
- Assist in a clean month end close by helping Production understand the orders that are still in process and need to be completed.
- Verify all Work Orders associated with a Sales Order are complete prior to shipment. This will allow Accounting to invoice in a timely manner.
- Utilize MRP to create appropriate Work Orders for items not tied directly to a Sales Order.
- Assist in further refinement of the scheduling process based on daily feedback, interactions, and learning.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Must have effective organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to quickly understand a situation, determine root cause, and execute a corrective action as a Team.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership/influence without authority
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills which will entail speaking to small and potentially larger groups of individuals
- Must be a perceptive listener with the ability to ask pertinent questions and hold business units accountable regarding details associated with timely project execution.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple objectives/tasks.
- Must possess solid computer skills (MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PPT), and have working knowledge and experience with CRM software
- Must be able to analyze and interpret data and be able to explain the analytics for process monitoring and improvement.
- Must have adequate sight to read and interpret data
- Required to use advanced math and writing skills
- Required to use a Laptop Computer routinely
