Vagabond Blues is looking for a Dishwasher to join our Back of House team! We are looking for a self motivated individual with high standards for cleanliness and efficiency. Flexible availability is preferred. Punctuality is a must, as well as a positive attitude open to constructive guidance. Must be able to lift 50lbs and obtain Alaska Food Handlers card. Responsibilities
- Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and other items as needed)
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
- Set up workstations before meal prep begins, kitchen prep as needed and as time permits
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents)
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
- Remove garbage regularly
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
- Put away, rotate and organize daily vendor deliveries
- Maintain daily and weekly chores
- End of shift cleaning and mopping.
