The Activities Attendant is responsible for safely assisting guests with: paddleboat, kayak, canoe, stand up paddleboard, and bicycle rentals. This position is also responsible for assisting with our food and beverage sales inside the Adventure Center. The Activities Attendant’s primary responsibility is to our guests, their safety, comfort and enjoyment. They are expected to provide an Experience of a Lifetime our guests will remember, want to repeat, and encourage others to enjoy.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $20 per hour
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full & Part Time
- Skill Level: Entry
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional guest service
- Assist customers with boat and bicycle rentals
- Complete cash and credit card sales on point of sale
- Complete sales at the snack bar, including alcohol sales
- Monitor lake to enforce safety guidelines and watch for inclement weather
- Lead activities such as tie-dye t-shirts & spin art
- Light cleaning and basic maintenance
- Assist with banquets and other special events
- Able to work in both a fast and slow paced environment
- Check-in guests for the summer sleigh rides
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High School degree- preferred
- Previous guest service experience – preferred
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Fluent in the English language, both written and verbal – required
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- Current TIPS certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
- Previous experience in food and beverage including alcohol sales – preferred
The budgeted range starts at $20. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
