Host/Hostess - Zach's Cabin - Full Time, Winter Seasonal - Beaver Creek, CO
Perched on the mountainside high above Bachelor Gulch, it’s hard to compare Zach’s to any other restaurant. Zach’s Cabin is considered one of the best restaurants in the Vail Valley. Zach’s has been awarded the Wine Spectator “Best Of” Award of Excellence for eight years running. We would like to invite you to become a part of our team and work in one of the most unique settings the valley has to offer.
The Host/Hostess responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and seating all guests, by name if possible
- Responsible for taking care of future reservations and maintaining wait lists
- Assists and helps managers in controlling the flow of guests and seat them promptly
- Answers phones and works with other personnel as needed to maintain the dining areas
- Must be willing and able to help set up, and bus tables when needed
- Other duties as assigned
Wage: $10.00/hour
Qualifications:
- Team-oriented attitude is a must
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays - required
- Must be fluent in English - required
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs - required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time without sitting during a shift - required
- End of season commitment - required
- High school diploma or equivalent - preferred
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience - preferred
