What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Supervisor, Summer 2014, Grand Teton Lodge Company, WY position at vailresorts.valhalla.stage?
This job is great for those who aren’t afraid to roll their sleeves up to get the job done; who like working in a team environment and want to play in the great outdoors of Grand Teton National Park!
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Opening and/or closes laundry facility
- Controling workflow by coordinating work assignments with laundry manager or assistant
- Being certain that linen order for each area is complete
- Preparing all laundry machinery for operation prior to arrival of laundry crew
- Assisting with laundry production as needed
- Overseeing laundry operations in the absence of manager and assistant manager
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Quality conscious and attentive to detail
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to move around and stand on your feel for long periods of time
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Prior supervisory experience
- Prior high volume laundry experience
