The Arrabelle is a luxury Vail hotel ideally located in the heart of the much-acclaimed Vail Square. The F&B Receiving Clerk is responsible for monitoring and receiving incoming orders throughout the resort, processing orders in a professional manner, and the distribution to the outlets in a timely manner. This position will ensure adherence to established receiving, stock rotation, requisition and sanitation and security procedures. Responsible for shipping guest packages and in-house needs in coordination with resort operations. This position will ensure that all food items received meet the approved criteria established by the hotel Food and Beverage/Purchasing Departments. The position will work with chemicals and toxic material when checking supplies into storeroom area and making deliveries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. -required
- Previous culinary experience. -preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English. -required
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays. -required
- Culinary degree/certificate. -preferred
- Previous culinary experience. -preferred
- Ability to communicate in Spanish. -preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. -required
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours. -required
- Current certification in state Professional Food Handler Program. -preferred
