The Room Service/In-Room Dining staff is responsible for ensuring that all guests have the highest quality dining experience possible. All team Members assist in maintaining a profitable department that is also environmentally responsible.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Exhibits strong menu, beverage, and wine knowledge
- Execute the service of In-Room Dining Attendant (IRDA) from phone orders to closing of checks correctly according to standards, policies, and procedures
- Attend to and serve guests at hot tub and poolside areas
- Keeps the chefs and managers informed of any issues that might affect quality of service or timing
- Completion of all IRDA side work as required
- Assists as necessary by performing the duties of server attendant, runner, and steward
- Performs additional responsibilities to help the Dining Room and Hotel function efficiently
- Able to multi-task and handle high volume service demands
- Adhere to all company standards, policies, and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English
- Current certification in a nationally recognized program concerning service of alcohol or able to be obtained upon being hired
- Certification from the state Professional Food Handler Program or able to be obtained upon being hired
- Willing to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and or late evenings.
- At least 18 years of age
- High school degree or GED
- Professional Food and beverage experience - preferred
- Some food and liquor/spirits knowledge - preferred
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Previous experience and knowledge of touch screen POS systems - preferred
- In-person interview - preferred
