Civil Engineering professional with 4 years of accomplishment in designing Civil projects. This individual assists Valdes Senior Civil engineers working with other Valdes' discipline engineers and client engineering representatives.

- Display a general knowledge of the Civil Engineering discipline
- Provide generally accepted practices with project layout and design with minimal guidance by Senior Civil engineers.
- Engage in design production, as directed by Senior Engineers, and help produce complete, quality, and timely deliverables.
- Verify field conditions and assist the Senior Engineers in resolving problems during field construction
- May be required to participate in short, or long term, field assignments
- Ability to establish and maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and effective work relationships with clients, subordinates and co-workers
- Personable and able to work easily with others at all levels
- Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflicts or work issues in a professional manner
- Provide leadership to monitor, enforce, and improve quality of work

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering
- 4 years of experience working as a Civil Engineer
- Must hold Professional registrations (PE) or be able to obtain registration within one year of hire
- General knowledge of Civil Engineering
- Strong Microsoft Office software skills
- Strong AutoCAD / Civil 3D software skills. MicroStation experience is a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Personable and able to work easily with others
