Vale Group has partnered with a company in the health and wellness industry, based in Jackson, WI, who is actively searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician to work onsite for an opportunity paying $25-$30 per hour based on experience. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including setting up, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing (blending) and production (filling & packaging) equipment. The mechanic will also provide maintenance support on ancillary equipment and utility systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient production process.

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician :

High School diploma and some formal technical education (or equivalent experience) in electro / mechanical disciplines
Ability to read and speak English, and proficiency in simple math
Knowledge of GMP requirements and OSHA guidelines

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician :

Setup filling and packaging equipment according to the production schedule, ensuring adherence to sanitization timelines and component lot control

Address machine performance issues during production to minimize downtime while maintaining quality standards

Train operators on fundamental setup procedures and basic machine adjustments

Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on blending, filling, and packaging equipment

Participate in production planning to ensure adequate maintenance coverage for setup and repairs

Assist in the design, installation, and modification of equipment for new or revised production processes

Conduct routine and non-routine maintenance on facility systems

Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and GMP practices in all repairs and maintenance tasks

Support material handling requirements for filling and packaging operations

Exhibit a positive attitude, strong attendance, and professional interpersonal skills

Perform other duties as assigned
