As the Productivity Buyer, you improve site competitiveness through serial materials cost reductions in liaison with Business Group and Group organization.

Your challenges…

• You define and implement technical, re-sourcing, logistics, and Valeo Production System materials and reservoirs in line with budget requirements, in collaboration with other functions.
  
• You support the commodity organization to reach the site negotiation objectives.
  
• Implement material productivity actions and bring suppliers in line with budget timing.
  
• You pilot supplier relationship when not covered by Group Commodity organization
  
• You implement Valeo’s standards in the site.
  
• You build the site budget together with the Site Purchasing manager.
  
• You implement mitigation action plan at site level.
  
• You ensure coverage of logistics protocols for all bought out parts.
  
• You strictly apply the Supplier Integration axis within the site (internal referentials, certifications, procedures, purchasing tools, information systems).
  
• You manage engineering changes on parts and technical productivity actions.
  
• You launch production part approval process and work along with engineering on part approval.
  
• Ensures compliance with all safety procedures and standards including, but not limited to, performing tasks safely, wearing required personal protective equipment, maintaining a clean working area and implementing safety improvements.
  
• Escalate challenges and impediments to meeting customer’s expectations.
  
• Maintain professional and positive relations with team members.
  
• May train other team members to support cross training efforts.
  
• Comply with all company conduct rules.
  
• Other duties and or projects may be assigned.
  

Lets talk about you….

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree.

• 
  You have a minimum of 1 year experience in Purchasing for Automotive and or manufacturing.
