Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients' health status.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures as required.
- Manage discharge planning for patients, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital to home or other care facilities.
- Suture wounds and provide necessary follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for seniors and patients requiring urgent care.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical practices, particularly in geriatrics and senior care.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with the ability to practice in the state of employment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient assessments and interventions.
- Experience in a Level II trauma center is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in managing medical records and utilizing electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
