*Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates and vendors
*Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants
*Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash
*Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors
*Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells and foyers
*Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
*Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Experience, Skills and Knowledge
*Hotel experience preferred
*Self-starting personality with an even disposition
*Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
*Can communicate well with guests
*Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. *Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations

*Assist room attendants as needed
Duties:
-Wash. Dry, and Fold bed linings, towels, and tableclothes.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Make beds and change linens.
- Replenish supplies in guest rooms and common areas.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining different types of flooring.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals properly.
Skills:
- Attention to detail: Housekeepers need to pay close attention to detail to ensure that rooms are thoroughly cleaned and organized.
- Time management: Housekeepers must be able to manage their time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical stamina: Housekeeping can be physically demanding, requiring individuals to be on their feet for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions.
- Communication skills: Housekeepers may need to communicate with guests or other staff members, so strong verbal communication skills are important.
Please note that previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is preferred. Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is also a plus.
