Job Summary:
Valiant Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Account Manager II to join our growing finance team. The Account Manager II (may also be referred to as account manager) will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support the companies and clients financial health. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as work independently. This role will also include being a back up for payroll if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- General Ledger Maintenance:
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely and accurate transactions and manage cash flow effectively.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing the annual budget, conducting variance analysis, and providing actionable financial insights to management.
- Compliance and Tax Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and assist in preparing tax filings, including sales tax, payroll tax, and other required filings.
- Review, acknowledge and implement SOP’s
- Additional tasks as assigned:

- Be available during peak periods, such as tax season, for extended hours if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- PTIN number or ability to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, TaxDome, Gusto) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and performing reconciliations.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

Pay: $58,656.00 - $65,000.00 per year
