This role involves performing light building maintenance tasks and ensuring a clean and organized office environment. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical skills and attention to detail, contributing to the overall functionality and appearance of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: Building Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on building systems, including electrical, plumbing. Address minor repairs and replacements, such as fixing leaks and changing light bulbs. Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Report any major issues or needed repairs to the supervisor and coordinate with external contractors if necessary. Office Cleaning: Clean and sanitize office spaces, including workstations, conference rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Manage and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for all cleaning tasks. Vacuum, mop, dust, and perform other cleaning duties as required to maintain a clean and organized office environment. Follow established cleaning protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. General Duties: Assist with setting up and arranging furniture or equipment for meetings and events. Support other team members in various facility-related tasks as needed. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with employees and visitors. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications in building maintenance or related fields is a plus. Proven experience in building maintenance and cleaning services. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Working Conditions: The role may involve working in various weather conditions and handling a range of cleaning chemicals and maintenance tools.
