Passionate, motivated, and creative individual needed to provide person centered services to support integrating adults with developmental disabilities in their community in a variety of settings and activities. Duties include supporting individual to participate in various cultural, educational, volunteer, and recreational opportunities. Must be a flexible team player committed to person-centered practices and advocacy. High School Diploma/GED preferred; driving record in good standing required. Full-time position offering competitive salary, extensive training, and a comprehensive benefits package. 18 years of age required; 1-2 years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilitie, including intellectual disabilities.

Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the delivery of person-centered services in community-based settings. Services include Community Engagement, Community Coaching, and Group Day.
- Provides direct support in a regularly scheduled and back up capacity.
- Reports directly to the Day Services Coordinator and/or Assistant Director - Residential and Day Services.
- Provided with formal supervision, ongoing consultation, review of written materials, and observation by the Day Services Coordinator and/or the Assistant Director - Residential and Day Services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Virginia Driver's License with a positive point balance driving record
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Within the first 12 months of employment, the employee must satisfactorily complete a VA Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide training program and satisfactorily demonstrate administration and supervision of self-administration.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required as well as strong teamwork skills and flexibility.
